Client Testimonial – Hanoi Cafe

Hanoi Cafe first opened over 15 years ago on Kingsland Road in Hackney, a stretch infamous for it’s Vietnamese eateries. Offering delicious home-cooked Vietnamese cuisine, Hanoi is a family-run cafe that offers a relaxed atmosphere for diners to come in and sample dishes inspired by traditional street food.

Manager Helen Nguyen wanted to update the cafe’s website and attract attention to some of the new dishes that would soon be launching. Having worked with Carrie before through another agency, Helen knew Carrie to be “friendly, stress-free and professional” in the way she worked and had already seen the quality of photos she’d produced on previous food shoots. She got in touch and sent her a brief of what she was looking for.

After ensuring all requirements were clearly defined by chatting through with Helen lighting, style, angles and objectives, Carrie completed the shoot within two hours. Post-editing, Helen was sent the final images consisting of a mixture of exterior and interior venue and food shots, shot in natural light and capturing the ambience of the cafe. Post-shoot Helen commented;
